Moises Cisneros to speak on international business development at TEA Summit Day One, April 3 in Anaheim

Moises Cisneros has 15 years of professional experience in international trade and economic development. In 2010, Cisneros launched Organic Global, a boutique consulting firm in Southern California focused on providing business solutions to forward thinking, global minded entrepreneurs.

In 2011, Cisneros was retained by the Santa Monica Small Business Development Center to deliver business financial planning and global strategic mentoring to area companies. Recently, the Santa Monica College Office of Workforce & Economic Development secured Cisneros to produce year round, high caliber business forums to educate entrepreneurs about innovative trends impacting their industries.

Prior to creating Organic Global, Cisneros was the Global Strategies and Business Services Manager for the Economic Development Agency (EDA) –San Bernardino County, where he fostered the retention of existing companies in the area, facilitated coalitions between economic development drivers such as the private sector, academic institutions, government and chambers of commerce. Additionally, Cisneros led multiple small business trade missions to Asian countries and launched the County’s first overseas office -established to provide resources to local area businesses and attract foreign direct investment. Economic development success in these areas resulted in recognition at the local, state and national levels.

Prior to joining the EDA, Cisneros headed the International Trade Office for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce where he facilitated small and medium size enterprises (SME’s) access to global markets. In the seven years at the LA Chamber, Cisneros led trade missions to dozens of countries in Latin America, the Pacific Rim and the European Union.

Mr. Cisneros serves on several boards and committees including the University of Southern California Latino Alumni Association and the LA Chambers World Trade Week Southern California Committee.

Moises received his Bachelor’s degree from the school of International Relations at the University of Southern California, (USC) and most recently, a Masters in Leadership from USC’s School of Policy, Planning and Development. Cisneros enjoys producing business events both locally and abroad.
